Ribagolfe I, is located 30 minutes drive east of Lisbon city centre, set within a forest of cork oak trees and the design makes full use of the sweeping undulations of the site, providing many spectacular golf holes across valleys and lakes. You can be sure that you will be surrounded by nothing but nature.|Ribagolfe I, has been created as a potential tournament venue. The fairly narrow fairway corridors through the cork oaks place the emphasis on accurate shot-making rather than length while large bunkers increase the challenge, particularly around the greens. Ribagolf is considered to be a sensational golf course, in which the natural element becomes an important part of the game and provides fresh challenges for even the most demanding of golfers.

Both courses are set within a forest of cork oak trees and the design makes full use of the sweeping undulations of the site, providing many spectacular golf holes across valleys and lakes.|The Ribagolfe II Green Course is unlike its bigger sister as it is mainly designed as a golf course for the Members, although visitors are allowed to play. The holes are laid out over undulating ground with sufficient water hazards and bunkers to challenge most golfers. The fairways are decorated with the typical cork trees famous to the Alentejo region.

Aroeira Challenge Golf Course was built to European Tour recommendation standards in order to host major international golf events. One of the course's characteristics is its 5 tees per hole, making it suitable for all levels of players.|The course has a fairly different concept from Aroeira 1, consisting of large fast greens, some of which are more than 700 m2. There are bunkers on the fairways, some of them in the Scottish style of pot bunkers. But the sand traps are not the only obstacle that have to be taken into account: because of the course's five large lakes, water is a fairly constant hazard, particularly at the last nine holes.

Lisbon Sports Club was established in 1861 by English residents of Lisbon and the golf course opened in 1922. But it was only in 1964 that the club took up its permanent home, the Casal da Carregueira, which is in Belas, some 15 kilometers from Lisbon. A number of difficulties - woods to the left, stream on the right, and bunkers on both sides - challenge the player even with his first shot. Then, before the golfer is properly warmed up, he has to face another Par 3, though this time with even greater difficulties. The player can enjoy unforgettable contact with nature, and admire the cypresses, the eucalyptus and wild flowers, while at the same time facing up to shots that tax his imagination. The original house on the property has been converted into a clubhouse. Its colonial style is very welcoming, and from its terrace one can see the fairways of holes 5 and 18.

The setting of the course can be considered as unique in comparison with most other courses in Portugal. Located in the parklands of what was originally a very wealthy 14th Century Monastery that has been very carefully restored. No expense appears to have been spared in creating this course and its surroundings that includes a residential development.|The topographical layout of the 18 holes is over gently wooded hills which adds to its overall beauty. The course offers interesting water hazards, some elevated greens and added to this is the challenge of the strong winds that some times occur. This course has to be played with respect for its architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. who has created a golf course that demands skill from the most experienced golfers. The course has hosted the Portuguese Open in 1994, 1995 and 2010 and several important international events.

Estoril Golf Club dates back to 1929 in its first nine-hole version and it was built by Fausto de Figueiredo, the gambling concessionaire at the Estoril Casino. In the new design, the former 9th hole disappeared, and an alteration was made to the fairway of the 13th hole - the famous Patiño’s hole - that now has a dogleg to the right and the second shot is played from the area where the old green was located. The green is now on a higher level. With the disappearance of the 9th hole it was necessary to build another hole, which is now number 13, a par 3 of 160 metros in length.|Finally, the 16th hole has a re-designed green but it is still a par 3, 186 metres long, but 15 metres shorter than the previous one, and it is considered by many players to be one of the best holes in Portugal.

The Belas Clube de Campos, nested in the Carregueira mountains, is in perfect harmony with Charles Franzman master plan: the houses on the hills with view over the golf and the course in the valleys, protected from the wind. The course meanders in amongst the hillsides, affording splendid views of the Sintra hills and is divided into two well defined parts: one with low density residential surroundings and the other through an untouched natural environment.|There are two holes that are particularly notable for their beauty and their challenging qualities: the second hole, a par 5 called 'Augusta' was built in homage to the 13 th hole of the famous course where the US Masters tournament takes place; hole number 18, a memorable par 4 final hole, was christened the 'Big Hole' because of the second shot that players must take makes some 180 meters from the green, which is well protected by a fearsome lake.

Developed by David McLay-Kidd, the par-71 links-style Dunas Course was constructed with the highest sustainable norms, resulting in approximately 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain that is expected to evoke parallels to some of the most renowned golf courses in the world, upon its summer 2023 debut. There will be a brand new clubhouse and golf academy built to complement the new Dunas Course. With Festuca grass-sown fairways, this course offers a formidable test of skill in a breathtaking backdrop. The length of the course, 6,597 metres, makes it exceptionally difficult and calls for pinpoint precision. There are six alternative tee boxes for each hole, so you may play at your own pace, whether that's a leisurely stroll around the park or a serious challenge to the course.

Quinta do Peru was the first golf course built in the Azeitão region between the castles of Sesimbra and Setubal, which is well known for its palaces, its wines and cheeses.|The course, with its many trees and wild flowers, offers a varied start.|The most difficult test on the course, hole 16, a Par 3 over 200 metres, where one needs to get over a lake to reach the green. After eighteen holes there is a number of golf-related activities available and also a clubhouse providing excellent views over the surrounding landscape, with the imposing and beautiful Arrabida mountain range in the background.

Montado course is surrounded by famous muscatel vineyards that were planted there more than a century ago. The course unfolds beneath old oaks and younger olive trees, chestnut and pines, planted when the course was first built, whilst around it wind creeks and natural lakes.|Some holes are unforgettable. Hole number 5, a Par 4 with a dogleg to the left, demands a good drive in which the second shot is played onto a wide green protected by water. Another hole of great scenic beauty is number 13, a Par 4 that provides a great view over Palmela Castle and an excellent opportunity for a birdie. On this course the golfer is almost always offered two choices for playing the holes. The riskier option implies heavy penalties if the shot is not accurately hit.

Located on the famous Estoril Coast, 25 kilometers from Lisbon, the Quinta da Marinha course was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones and is set in a private estate of 110 hectares, wooded with pine trees. The architect has worked on the flat terrain, laying out the course over 5870 metres for a Par 71. The most spectacular hole on this course is hole number 3, a Par 4 of 334 metres sloping down towards the sea. Once on the green, the golfer has the Atlantic Ocean as background. The whole of Quinta da Marinha's course is surrounded by beautiful panoramic views. The following hole (a Par 3) requires a very precise shot for the ball to cross a cliff and reach a wide but not very deep green. For most of the course, however, the fairways face inland with the beautiful outline of the Sintra mountain range forming their background. Many bunkers and a number of lakes make the player's task even more difficult. Hole number 10, for instance, has a green entirely surrounded by water.

This course forms part of a residential development; it is very flat and so provides a pleasurable but not exhausting game. Its eighteen holes, with excellent views over the Sintra mountain range.|Along its fairways, more than 40,000 trees have been planted. Oaks, pines, palm trees, cedars and magnolias create a beautiful green landscape around the course.|Adding to the beauty of the course, there are lakes dotted over almost its full extent. These are also the spots where golfers will experience greater difficulties. The parallel holes 16 and 17 have narrow fairways with a lake between them, requiring very accurate drives.
