El Corte Inglés opens in Madrid a golf simulator

The El Corte Inglés centre located on Madrid‘s Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid inaugurated a new golf simulator that has Foresight Sports, European technology based on the multi-award-winning launch monitor GCQuad.

The peculiar installation of the simulator inside a transparent display case is generating excitement among the visitors of the fifth floor of the centre because of its brilliant appearance and striking finish. The simulator consists of the latest technology such as its quadrascopic system for measuring the ball and the face of the club GCQuad, a system used by most of the world’s golf equipment manufacturers and by an increasingly extensive list of PGA players. Tour, European Tour and Asian Tour, as well as fitters, clubmakers, indoor golf businesses and individuals with a very high level of demand.

The GCQuad is powered by “Foresight Sports” native software, FSX 2020, with which El Corte Inglés customers will be able to check and compare any golf club, from the ‘putt’ to the ‘driver’, as well as golf balls. Among the data that can be obtained, in addition to the actual tracking of the ball, the precision of the ‘backspin’ and ‘side spin’ of the ball as well as the dynamic ‘loft’ and ‘lie’ of the clubface should be highlighted and the ‘smash factor’, in addition to the appreciated point of impact on the clubface.

The FSX 2020 software is housed in a powerful laptop with the latest technology and features, supported by a large 55-inch screen for clearer handling and visualization of data. The player will be able to practice his strokes both on the Foresight practice field and in any of the holes of the installed golf courses, being able to appreciate after each stroke the most precise data that will help the player to choose the material that suits him best. The simulator features a high-quality putting green artificial turf and hitting mat and a dual-layer hitting and projection screen with EPS HD quality for a brilliant, quality image delivered by a high-luminescence HD projector.

For Tee Times Golf Agency the new technologies are a great support and help for a perfect evolution in the practice of golf.
