The Canary Islands are an exceptional golfing location. Only here can you play surrounded by volcanic landscapes and contrasting views and watch the ball fade into the horizon over the ocean. The sea breeze makes every round different and means you have to take care of long pitches and drives. All this during the twelve months of the year: If there’s one thing that defines golf in the Canary Islands it’s that you can play around almost every day.

Few places around the world offer such optimal conditions for golfing. In the Canary Islands, we have some of the best professional courses in Europe, designed by world champions such as Severiano Ballesteros and José María Olazabal and renowned course architects like Juan Cartineu, Blake Stirling and Marco Martín. The result is golf courses that make the conditions a fundamental part of course design.

Most are designed to fit in with the landscape and a complete range of facilities including caddies, monitors and buggies, along with bonus extras like gyms, spas, and restaurants. Our courses are suitable for all handicaps with holes up to 110 meters, obstacles including lakes, bunkers and vegetations and wide greens. There are even greens on islands. Spectacular golfing!

The high standard of golf courses along with optimal conditions make the Canary Islands a favorite location for international golf tournaments. Many of the best golfers in the world walk our courses in search of victory.

The Canary Islands boast a full range of golfing hotels. Some courses are even within a resort or hotel grounds so you can sleep as close as possible to the first hole and combine your love of golf with spa sessions and leisure as well as relax on private beaches.

Tee Times Golf Agency as your best golf partner, offers its exceptional services so you can have the most enjoyable golfing experience at one of the best golfing destinations in the world, the Canary Islands.

New Arrivals!!

New Arrivals: Going on a golf holiday is great.

And while we are fully committed to bringing you the lowest possible prices, we know that a golf holiday doesn’t come cheap, or does it??

We share here our expertise to bring you the 10 best tips for you to save on your next golf holiday

1- Book in advance
Being organized can help you out when booking your golf holidays; it allows time for any changes, gives you the best chance to secure the availability of accommodation and also to get the tee times you prefer.
More importantly to this article, you can benefit the “Early Booking Discount“. Sometimes it may go up to 40%.

2- Look for more complete packages
Choosing a complete package is as convenient as it is cost-efficient; you won’t need to go searching for hotel and golf courses separately and add extra services you will need like the shuttle services to golf courses or airport transfers.
Everything is put together for you in the best way possible and paid for already, which of course, at first sight, will be more expensive, but it will cut your spending costs down massively.

3- Loyalty Rewards
We love it when our clients come back to us year after year, especially when we consider that our employees and customers have such common interest which is “The best golf holiday possible“. That is why we always reward our clients with loyalty card advantages. When you book with us you accumulate money in your account and you can deduct it at your next reservation.

4- Taking your clubs or renting?
If the money was not the issue, we believe everybody would prefer to take their own clubs. However, most of the airlines are charging extra fees for golf club carriage. Compare the extra charge of airlines and the cost of rentals. Mostly, renting golf clubs can be much cheaper than taking your own. And it is troublefree with the assistance of delivering and collecting the clubs at your hotel.

5- Group discounts
Traveling in a larger group helps everyone to save money. If you’ve browsed some of our great deals before, you will have seen the phrase “groups of 8” or “1 in 8” or “1 in 12” used frequently. This means when you get eight or more people (depends on the offer) people to join the group one person will be offered to travel free of charge. Then all that’s left to do is split the saving between the group and everybody will save money. Also, if you are comfortable with sharing the accommodation with other participants in your group, booking a hotel or apartment offering four, six or eight people staying together will reduce the accommodation cost drastically.

6- Seize the deals out of prime times
All the golf travelers want to enjoy their golf in the morning, leaving the rest of the day to explore, drink or chill but if you’re willing to break this habit, it could really pay off, you can benefit the early bird or twilight discounts that almost all the golf courses offer.

7- Go “out of season”
When booking a golf holiday, consider booking out of the ‘peak summer seasons’ of June, July & August; it’ll bring your cost down. Especially destinations blessed with great weather like Algarve or south Spain, you will still enjoy the heat and sunshine out of the summer season too.

8- Change the weekend break
Thursday to Sunday is the most common long weekend break for golfers too. if you want to experience the nightlife, the weekend is probably the best time to go. But if you’re more into golfing than a bar crawl, then still go on a long weekend, but switch it up. Instead of Thursday to Sunday try Saturday to Tuesday. Not only will you experience a quieter golf course and hotel but you can also save at airline tickets an in some cases at golf courses and hotels.

9- Multiple rounds at the same course
In every destination you go to, you will find several amazing courses and will be tempted to experience all. However, most of the courses have special discounts for multiple rounds.
Also, besides being cheaper there are some benefits of playing the same course twice. Especially with the challenging courses. Returning to the same course and knowing what you are facing might improve your game and you can enjoy the same course better.
With the 27 holes courses, you can try different combinations and enjoy a different game on the same course.

10- And last but not least: Book your golf holidays with Tee Times Golf Agency
We never give up chasing the best deals and the newest promotions to offer you the best price you can find in the market. Also with our “Best Price Guarantee Policy” we promise you to refund your money back on the difference if you find a better offer.

So there you go, 10 tips to make your golf holiday cheaper. If you have any more tips to share, post a comment.

And if you want to put these tips into practice and book a golf holiday simply contact us, we will take care of the rest.

Golfing in “Caliente” Spain

Golfing in Caliente Spain. Vincci Tenerife Golf

Golfing in Caliente Spain

Spain is one the most popular golfing destination in continental Europe, with 313 courses to choose from and a climate that can be relied upon year-round.
The coastal regions – the Costa Brava, the Costa del Sol, and, increasingly, the Costa de la Luz – are the most appealing for holiday golfers. The Balearic and Canary Islands have so much to offer too.
Don’t stay home this summer.
Malaga is a good gateway for many of the golf courses of Andalucia. The city is easy to reach from all Europe cities.
More than 50 courses to choose from along the Costa del Sol, the oldest of which – and the closest to the airport.
Every golfer has his favourite, but several of the Spanish courses regularly appear in lists of the best courses in Europe.
A golfing holiday doesn’t need to break the bank.
And wherever you decide to play there are ways of keeping costs down. If you are taking your own clubs with you on holiday, this might have a bearing on the airline you choose to use. Any of the low-cost airlines will charge extra to carry sporting equipment, in addition to normal check-in baggage charges. So, club hire sometimes is cheaper and you can choose your dream golf set to play with.
Many golf resorts also provide facilities for other activities to fill the hours when you are not on the course – or to occupy other members of the party who may not be golf aficionados.
A popular example of this is La Manga Club, which began life as a golf course in a residential development. Now it is a major resort covering an area the size of Monaco, with a five-star hotel, self-catering apartments, restaurants and bars, a spa, tennis facilities and three championship golf courses.
