The Vilamoura Golf Club President’s Cup was played on the Dom Pedro Old Course with 50 players and the summer heat, and the course was in excellent condition.
In gross the champion was John Stilwell with 33 points.
The net winner of the tournament was the British David Bloch with 40 points, followed by João Jacinto da Silva 39 and Afonso Esteves 37.
The ladies’ winner was Arminda Von Kaenel with 34 points, followed by Nina Barker also with 34.
The best junior was João Freitas Alexandre with 38 points.
The prizes were distributed by the Club President, Luís Correia da Silva, during the convivial lunch at the host club.
