The Southern Delegation of the National Association of Golf Seniors (ANSG) held today the Tournament Solverde Seniores Casinos of the Algarve in the Dom Pedro golf course Pinhal (Vilamoura), with 71 players from 32 clubs in the north, center, Alentejo and Algarve.

The absolute champion was Henrique Pinheiro with 40 points, followed by João Esteves 39 and Luís Zacarias 38.

In gross won José Cândido de Oliveira with 29 points, leaving António Gravelho in 2nd with 26, and Carlos Poucochinho also with 26.

The women’s event was won by Maria José Pinto, the senior national champion, with 37 points, leaving Iride Graf in 2nd and Elvira Gama in 3rd place.

In the Super Seniors the winner was Rui Serra de Matos with 37 points, followed by Luís Gama 36 and Eduardo Godinho 35.

In the guests won Geraldino Contino with 35 points, followed by Julian Reynolds.
