Tee Times Algarve Golf – Chez Carlos Golf Society vs Parky’s Bar Cup Golf Match Review
Here follows the review of the last Tuesday’s golf match opposing the Chez Carlos Golf Society and the Parky’s Bar Cup teams.
Dear Friends,
On Tuesday 17th November 2015 on a fantastic sunny day with 20ºC, with blue skies, Chez Carlos Golf Society faced off Parky’s Bar group at the Oceânico Laguna Golf Course, in a 12 vs. 12 match, 4 Ball Better Ball format.
Laguna was in excellent conditions, Tees and Fairways spotless, the Greens a bit hard, but fast around 8,5 to 9 feet (stimpmeter).
For the history records: 4,5 – 1,5 results win for Chez Carlos Golf Society.
Filipe at Chez Carlos Restaurant prepared excellent nibbles as usual, for the after game gathering of all players in a friendly atmosphere. Promises for a rematch where left hanging in the air.
Vilamoura home of the Masters, a European Tour golf competition, and several times voted the best golf destination in the world, due to its 6 golf courses, its accommodation capacity with several internationally renowned hotels, countless restaurants and bars and the best European recreational marina, is also planning a master plan that foresees an investment of 10 million euros.
The executive chairman of the World Vilamoura, Paul Taylor, revealed that the construction of this project L’Orangerie Phase II starts in January 2016, and the marketing of the units begin to be made from the same date. The project completion is scheduled for the summer of 2017. Phase II includes 32 units, all designed facing the golf courses.
This project is received “high interest internationally, especially from British investors, Swedish, German and Chinese, in Vilamoura development projects since the Masterplan was released.” According to the same source, the recovery of the Portuguese economy is “to attract global attention and investment we make here reinforces the reference position of Portugal as a real estate investment market in Southern Europe.”
