Amendoeira Golf Resort is, for the sixth time, hosting the Oceânico Kids World Golf Championship. The championship, regularly attracting entries from as far afield as Asia, is held over 4 days and will be contested over three rounds of the Oceânico Faldo Course and O’Connor Jnr course. Along with a Child & Parent tournament on the Oceanico Academy 9-hole par 3 course.
For golfers and golfing-spectators on holiday in Portugal, the Oceânico Kids World Golf Championship provides the opportunity to enjoy the golfing talent of some of the up-and-coming young golfers from across the world. As they compete on two championship golf courses.

The competing golfers of this junior championship, aged between seven and eighteen, will compete within their relevant age and gender categories. With the lowest three scores to par in each category being awarded prizes. Children aged 10-and-over will compete over 18 holes on each of the three tournament days, while the nine-and-under golfers will be playing three nine-hole rounds.
The facilities of the Amendoeira Golf Resort include the Oceânico Academy 9-hole par-3 floodlit course. A floodlit driving range, short game practise area and golf tuition. There is also the Clubhouse with restaurant, bar and sports TV.
