The Algarve Tourism Board (Região de Turismo do Algarve—RTA) has launched a new digital campaign to promote the Algarve region in Portugal and Andalusia, Spain. This initiative seeks to inspire tourists to explore the region’s diverse offerings, enhance engagement, and strengthen the connection between potential visitors and the destination. Under the slogan “Algarve. The holidays you deserve,” the campaign positions the Algarve as the ultimate dream vacation spot.

The campaign focuses on showcasing the idyllic landscapes and wide range of tourist experiences in the Algarve. It aims to communicate effectively with audiences in Portugal and Andalusia, mainly targeting the 8.6 million-person Andalusian community. The campaign is thoughtfully designed to appeal to a broad demographic, ensuring everyone, from adventurous youth to families and seniors, feels included and catered to and is encouraged to experience this region’s exceptional offerings.

According to André Gomes, President of the RTA and the Associação Turismo do Algarve, “This campaign reflects our commitment to positioning the Algarve as a year-round destination of excellence. We want everyone, from the youngest adventurers to families and seniors, to feel they deserve an unforgettable holiday in the Algarve. With our breathtaking beaches, rich gastronomy, and vibrant cultural offerings, we believe this campaign will not only boost the Algarve’s visibility but also attract visitors, especially during the shoulder season.”

The campaign materials, produced by New Light Pictures, include a dynamic 30-second commercial and shorter 10-second versions, complemented by vibrant photographs capturing moments of beach fun, local delicacies, and nature experiences.
