Great location for beach and golf. Reception, bar and public areas are clean and fresh. Breakfast is very good. Some of the furniture in the rooms is a little tired and dated. Staff are friendly and helpful will return at some time in the future.

From our first day arriving we were met at reception with a warm welcome and a thank you for our return once again! All staff very friendly and polite breakfast fantastic the only negative is the outside of the hotel looks very tired and could do with a face lift all in all we look forward to coming back again soon.

When we booked this you showed photos of modern interior bedrooms but when we got there they were very old traditional part of the hotel which was disappointing. The room was nice but not what we thought we had booked with you. You need to make this clear to the purchaser that they are effectively in the cheap rooms!

All very good except draw for golf separates partners. If a couple have Buggy it means having to hire ans extra trolley or trying to swop to get together.not very convenient.

Great hotel. Staff fantastic. Huge thanks to Melanie in guest relations who was so helpful and always with a smile.
Only issue is transfers to golf. We didn’t know they were limited and need to be booked well in advance so there was none available for our golf . We had to get cabs for the first round and again had to negotiate with the hotel to get an extra shuttle for the second as they were all booked out.

Still a Very Good breakfast!
However the 'family hospitality' of the former Meridien Hotel has unfortuanaly changed in JWW efficiency.
The rooms are still very noisy. We recommend softeners under the beds, tables and chairs in the rooms.

Don Filipa Hotel is a excellent hotel. we enjoyed to stay there and also we have had excellent Dinners there. Also the Shuttle to the golfcourses was good.
