Buenavista golf course is located in the northwest of Tenerife, in the region of “daute isla baja. This 18 hole- par 72 golf course, designed by the great Severiano Ballesteros himself, is often compared with “pebble beach”, was inaugurated in October 2003.'' Buenavista golf course has been designed with great respect and total commitment to the natural landscape. The Buenavista golf course is certified for quality and environmental management of all its resources.
Buenavista Golf course have 5 greens close to the rocky coastline creating the optical illusion to the golfer that he is throwing his ball directly into the ocean.
It is a good trip if you are staying on the south coast of Tenerife island, but the Buena Vista golf course definitely deserves a visit, not only for its fantastic location, but also for the technical difficulties that the legendary Seve created in that bit of paradise
A luxury hotel is open right in front of hole number three and is a good option for a wonderful golf break.

Superbe golf course. Slope of 124 from the yellow tees seems very harsh, especially with wind gusts up to 55 mph as when we played!! Drinks area not great.

A golf experience like no other!
The course is stunningly wonderful.
The clubhouse is beautiful.
The views are constantly breathtaking.
If arriving by car be careful how you choose your route from El Tanque.
Make sure you go from El Tanque down to Icod and west along the coast into Buenavista - it’s a bit longer but if you go down from El Tanque via Tierra del Trigo you will be a gibbering wreck on the first tee for sure!

Once you have calmed down from the dive down the mountain you will find a beautiful course in great condition, the views were some of the best I've seen on Tenerife. The wind spoilt it a little but that's golf.

The Buenavista golf course is by far one of the most beautiful and interesting courses far and wide. It was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and is in very good condition and very well embedded in the beautifull landscape. You have a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains. It is a real pleasure to play golf there.
