La Cala Resort is 5925 metres in length, par 72.
Formerly the South Course, the spectacular Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf.
The oldest of the resorts three golf courses and the one most respected by the professionals, it is narrow and short, with four par 5 holes demanding skill and strategy.
Look out for the 10th with its classic design, and the 5th where the aim of your drive is especially critical. The 18th requires full concentration. Remember not to over-club off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could spoil your scorecard.
La Cala Resort is one of the largest and most exclusive golf resorts in southern Europe with three 18 hole golf courses and a high standard Par 3 six hole golf course. The natural features of the La Cala terrain have been used to challenging effect by the renowned golf course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. The three golf courses are carefully maintained to ensure they are playable all year round. The North Course (now renamed Campo America) is perhaps more difficult than the shorter South (Campo Asia) but both demand great accuracy from the tee and careful club selection. Meanwhile, the third golf course, Campo Europa, uses the River Ojen in making the golf course distinctive. The layout allows for plenty of water hazards. All three offer different challenges to all levels of golfers and demand good golf course management in addition to a wide variety of shots.

La Cala is a great option for golf in Spain. Three course to choose from, Asia being the toughest in my view, some tough holes that need thinking about. Cracking clubhouse

The course was looking worn out. Compared to last year especially. Bunkers were in very bad condition.

Quality course. Not long but very hilly with most greens above or below you. Many side hill lies for approach shots.

La Cala is a stunning Golf Resort - a very busy one. Played the Asia Course and the fairways and Greens were superb. Some of their Par 3s suffer on the tee box.
Golf Buggies a must and the staff were really friendly. The best I have dealt with all week.
Golf Shop not as well stocked as I expected and the dearest I have seen all week.
Was a great visit and La Cala lived up to its reputation.

A very challenging course. Local knowledge is critical. Accurate drives are very important in many of the holes. Bring many balls. Although tough, we enjoyed the experience. Will not hesitate to play there again. The staff at reception and at the buggy bay were professional and friendly.

Very friendly people at reception. Golf course is challenging to play (narrow fairways, great downhill tee shots, etc), Greens are in very bad shape.

Excellent service, personnel very nice. The course needs practice, quit difficult when you play there for the first time

Nice course possibly the tightest of the three courses, course planner of Garmin necessary if never played before several blind shots. Some steep inclines but perhaps the easier walk of the three.

La Cala Asia is a great course with some challenging holes; loved playing there and would want to play there again on my next visit to Spain.
