Hacienda Del Alamo is an 18-hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas, where the facilities include a practice area, six short practice holes where you can practice without going out onto the golf course, plus the areas allocated for short shots.
The landscaping includes a large number of palm trees which will reach the height of their splendour over the next few years. There are also eight lakes over the length of Hacienda del Alamo golf course which add to the beauty of the setting and make holes like the 8th, 10th and 12th quite impressive. It is an open golf course with large greens protected by water or bunkers. The signiture hole is either 8 or 9. This golf course has all the qualities of a championship golf course.
The golf course at Costa Blanca has never been in better form, and the new orange tees, which were added at the end of last year, are particularly popular with the club's older clients and among those who are just learning the game.

On arrival, the pro shop staff were very helpful as was the caddie master.
The course was very dry due to the drought but still played well. We finished late and were shocked to find the club house was locked with no staff apart from a cleaner. The locker room light were turned of in the shower area and the front door was even locked.

Enjoyed the game in the sun
The course was in poor condition and too be fair I feel it maybe down to the terrible floods but the greens were heavily sandy and the fairways dry
But I found the disgusting behaviour of 7 grown men and their foul and abusive language completely unacceptable and not a senior manager about to put a stop to it

5 hours & 25 minutes for 18 Holes, absolutely Horrendous. We stood on every tee for roughly 10 minutes. They only seem to be interested in Lifestyle Golfers. We came off the course to get food & drinks roughly about 17:30pm. Kitchen was closed, we were told that we were in a Queue to get a drink. We sat down for 20 minutes waiting on our drinks then the barman shouted over that they were shut, absolutely bizarre. We had to carry our clubs for 15 minutes to go into the resort centre to get some snacks & drinks. A real shame as-well because the course was in really good condition. We’ll not be back. It’s off the list.

Very disappointing. Course in poor condition. Ignorant pro shop staff. No ranger on the course. 4 hours 50 for 18 holes. Do they want to attract visitors??

The Course was in really good condition. The only thing that stops me giving this course a 9 or a 10 is the white stoney wasteland which you can run into even if you hit the Fairway. We ended up giving ourselves free lift and drops as it was only a bounce game as this stuff was starting to scratch up our clubs quite badly when we were hitting out of it. Maybe some sort of Local Rule could be brought in for a free lift and drop. You get a free lift and drop in Tenerife if you land on the volcanic ash. Still a really good track though and we will definitely be back:)

Nice course, good to walk, the greens were in good condition. Fairway bunkers strategically placed at 200-230 yards, just my carry distance, bit more forgiving off the tee on the longer holes, no real trees to talk of and some testing par 3s around the 180-190 yards. Enjoyed playing it.
