Vilamoura Victoria Golf Course
The Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura is currently undergoing significant renovations led by golf legend Ernie Els and is set to reopen in February 2025. Known for hosting the European Tour’s Portuguese Masters from 2007 to 2022, the course, originally designed by Arnold Palmer, is being upgraded to enhance its facilities and maintain its status as a premier golfing destination.

Victoria is part of the Dom Pedro group which has 5 quality golf courses. Victoria is known for hosting European tour events in the (recent) past. Lots of big names have won here. I saw it a lot on television and was excited to play here. Although the quality of the course is excellent I was a little disappointed. After all it wasn't that challenging as I expected. In my opinion I prefer The Old Course and even Pinhal and Millennium provide a better challenge. Victoria has more water but it is a prety open course, fun to play still.

*Undulated - Rolling fairways
*Dogleg - Mainly on the front 9
*Exposed - Wind conditions play a big part on this course
*Water hazards - More on the back 9, but are clear from the tee
*Parkland - More Heathland feel to this course
*Signature Hole - the 12th
*Comments - European Tour venue
